SSP at Southern Manufacturing and Electronics Show
The SSP team had a busy few days exhibiting at the recent Southern Manufacturing and Electronics Show in Farnborough where they demonstrated some of their product offerings. Amongst the products on display was a bespoke clip produced for a customer in the construction industry. The clip was designed to replace the nuts and bolts they were using for installation resulting in fewer products being needed and less time to secure the trunking, the clip is also branded with the customer’s logo.
A professional video was also on display at their stand highlighting their key services such as their in-house engineering department that can provide any tooling needs. Their assembly service can incorporate components manufactured in-house with either free issue parts or bought in items. They can also operate kan-ban, VMI and other stock management systems, as well as bar coding for ease of stock control and traceability. |
SSP have a bespoke design consultancy service and they have the ability to provide all types of wire and flat metal components, producing them in all quantities from just a few prototypes to large production runs delivering them directly to their customers.
After running a competition to win an Amazon voucher, which many visitors participated in, the winner drawn from the free prize draw was Linda Whelan from Portsmouth Aviation. Well done Linda!
